Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using LocalGap, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

LocalGap analyzes publicly available Google review data for your business and businesses you select as competitors, and generates a plain-language report comparing them. Review data is retrieved through a third-party data provider, not collected by us directly, and reports are generated with the help of a third-party AI service.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up, and let us know at support@localgap.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

Credits and billing

• New accounts receive 1 free credit to run a first report.
• One credit covers a comparison against up to 5 competitors. Comparing against more competitors in a single report costs additional credits, shown before you run it.
• Monthly subscription credits reset each billing cycle and do not carry over.
• Top-up credit packs do not expire.
• Canceling a subscription stops future renewals; you keep any credits already on your account.
• Subscriptions and one-time credit purchases are processed through PayPal.

Refund Policy: All items once purchased are non refundable under any circumstances.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use LocalGap to harass, defame, or take adverse action against any business or individual based on a report's contents
• Attempt to circumvent the credit system or access the service without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to reverse-engineer it
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

No guarantee of accuracy

Reports are generated from third-party review data and third-party AI analysis. While we aim for accuracy, we don't guarantee that every finding in a report is complete, current, or free of error. Reports are a starting point for your own judgment, not a substitute for it, and should not be treated as professional business, legal, or financial advice.

Third-party services

LocalGap relies on third-party providers for review data, AI analysis, and payment processing. We aren't responsible for outages, errors, or changes in those providers' services that affect LocalGap's availability or accuracy.

Termination

You may deactivate your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocalGap is provided "as is," and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
